Johnny Depp Officially Splits from Vanessa Paradis

Ron Galella/WireImage(NEW YORK) -- Johnny Depp has officially split from French actress Vanessa Paradis after 14 years together. The couple, who never married, showed signs of trouble earlier this year when Depp moved out of their home in southeastern France, Plan-de-la-Tour.
A rep for the actor confirmed the split, which was first reported by Entertainment Tonight, telling ABC News in a statement, "Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis have amicably separated. Please respect their privacy and, more importantly, the privacy of their children."
The couple are parents to Lily-Rose, 12, and Jack, 9.
The Pirates of the Carribean actor, who now lives in Hollywood, first saw Paradis at the Costes Hotel in Paris where he invited her over to chat in 1998. The two talked for hours. Still, in January friends of the couple said their relationship was "sad," reports People, and that their relationship was crumbling.
Deep was previously engaged to Winona Ryder and had a long-term relationship with Kate Moss.
