Two Women Found Dead in Chinatown Fire

Two people were killed in a fire on the Lower East Side, near the Williamsburg Bridge with reports of several other injuries.   

The Chinatown fire broke out just after 10:30 this morning in a six-floor building at8 3 Henry Street.  At least 65 firefighters were called in to fight the fire.

The investigation is just beginning. There is no word on how the blaze may have started and no arrests have been made.
