A Rhode Island man claims he’s the long lost son of Bob Dylan.
William DeVogue says his mother struck up a fling with the music legend in 1963 in Greenwich Village that resulted in his birth in 1964. Plagued by drug addiction, DeVogue’s mother gave him up for adoption. When he finally tracked her down as an adult, she confessed that the Grammy-winner is his father.
Dylan, apparently says he has “no recollection” of siring a child with the woman and refused to take a paternity test.
However, DeVogue is unwavering in his quest to uncover his true parentage. He told the City Pages, “I respect Bob and want no money from him, just the truth. And I will get it!”
