Indian Bus Crash Kills 39

iStockphoto/Thinkstock(CHAMBA, India) -- A privately owned and crowded bus had an accident when travelling between Chamba to Bharmaur reports the BBC.

The bus drifted off the road and fell over 300 feet into the Chamba Valley, which resulted in the death of 39 passengers.

Officials say the driver lost control of the bus during a sharp turn on the mountain road.

Over 110,000 deaths are caused by vehicular accidents in India. Most these accidents occur becaus of unmaintained roads, reckless driving and old cars.
