Sunshine, Clouds, and Showers ?
6/26/2012
Tuesday Weather Headlines
* Self-destructive sunshine today with below average temperatures
* Warming trend starting tomorrow
* Hazy, hot, and humid for the weekend
Today we have a cold pool of air(A region of relatively cold air aloft that represents instability) so maybe a small chance of showers or a t-storm especially when we reach our convective temperature(The approximate temperature that the air near the ground must warm to in order for clouds to develop). Despite that a nice sunny day on tap with a northwest wind gusting around 10-15mph with highs in the middle 70s.
Tonight will be mostly clear with lows around 60. Wednesday will still be breezy with a continued northwest wind, but we'll warm up into the lower 80s with a chance of a shower or t-storm in the afternoon.
Thursday we'll have a warm front work north in the afternoon so highs will get in the middle to upper 80s with a south wind and a few more clouds in the afternoon.
Friday will be downright hot and humid with highs in the lower 90s with a chance of showers and t-storms in the afternoon as a cold front approaches. It stalls on top of us for the weekend, but it won't be a complete washout. You will just have to dodge a 20-minute shower from time to time with highs in the lower 90s both days.
Have a great Tuesday and be sure to follow my updates on my Facebook Weather Page!
