A Seasonable Tuesday, but may have to dodge a storm....

Tuesday Weather Headlines
-
Still seasonable (avg 84/69)
-
Isolated showers/t-storm in the afternoon
-
Heat and humidity returns by the end of the week
Today we'll have a short wave pushing through(a disturbance in the middle part of the atmosphere which induces upward motion ahead of it-can contribute to thunderstorm development). There will also be some CAPE(Convective Available Potential Energy-the measure of the amount of energy available for convection to pop up). Clouds will pop up as we reach our convective temperature(The approximate temperature that the air near the ground must warm to in order for clouds to develop). So there could be an isolated shower that pops up in the afternoon. Highs will be in the lower 80s.
Tonight there may still be a lingering shower. Otherwise partly cloudy with a low around 70. It's all gone by Wednesday and we'll have lots of sunshine with still lower humidity. Highs will be in the middle 80s. Close to 90 on Thursday, but then the humidity creeps back in on Friday morning as that front to our south will push north as a warm front. Chance for showers and thunderstorms with a cold front Saturday going into Sunday with highs around 90. You knew this couldn't last forever!
Have a great Tuesday and be sure to follow my updates on my Facebook Weather Page!
